In my experience most people need a variety of photos. Sometimes people approach me for a single headshot, but since we’re already going to the trouble of setting everything up and getting pretty for the camera I’ve found most people like to capture multiple moods or sides of themselves. It’s easy to bring a couple outfits and get a few different backgrounds and voila! You’re all set.
