Most of my clients have never done a photoshoot and may initially be intimidated by the process — I hear the same thing from nearly everyone I work with: “I don’t look good in pictures”. but they leave relaxed and excited to share the photos we captured during our session.
How does that happen?
Something I’ve heard again and again when people see my portraits is how they feel like they can see the person shining through. No forced poses, no awkward energy. We’re in this to get photos that you’re proud to share.
Before the shoot I’ll make sure you feel prepared with the right outfit based on some simple suggestions and we’ll get on the same page in terms of what you’d like to end up with.
During the shoot I’ll guide you, helping to pose you so that you feel natural. Being on camera isn’t most people’s idea of a good time, but with an expert’s help it can be a breeze. I’m good at getting my clients to relax by involving them in the process and describing why I’m doing what I’m doing every step of the way.
We’ll look through the photos together during the shoot to ensure that you’re happy with what we’re getting. Before you leave we’ll lock in your selections for me to edit. This speeds up the process and allows me to jump right into editing, getting your headshots to you faster.
I’ll deliver your headshots within 3 business days (or even quicker for a little extra).
Why it’s a good idea to get more than one professional photo in one session
In my experience most people actually need a variety of photos. Sometimes people approach me for a single headshot, but since we’re already going to the trouble of setting everything up and getting pretty for the camera I’ve found most people like to capture multiple moods or sides of themselves. It’s easy to bring a couple outfits and get a few different backgrounds and voila! You’re all set for a few years with pictures of yourself that you’re actually happy with. No more poorly-lit selfies, no more well-intentioned ‘photoshoots’ with your neighbor who happens to have a camera. You’ll stand out because you took the time to do it right and that can make all the difference, whether you’re trying to land the job, grow your business, or make a good impression on a social site.

Headshot Session
$475
45-minute guided session including up to 3 different backgrounds and/or 3 wardrobe changes
includes 4 edited and retouched images, provided digitally
Retouched Photos
Edits in retouched images include: refining lighting in the photo, removing flyaway hairs, teeth whitening, and removing any blemishes at your request. Additional edits are available upon your request.
We’ll select the final images to be edited at the end of our session, which lets me get right to work on them. Final images will be delivered to your e-mail address within 3 business days.
Other than the free edited photos that are included in your respective headshot package, additional retouched photographs are $35 per photograph.
Rushed edits (24-hour turnaround time from the session) are $50 per photograph you’d like edited.
